Hi my name is Jill. I am mom to Audrey Raine who is 8 months now. She is a very independent girl, she came 4 weeks early both happy and healthy, does things on "her" time and her time only. She weaned herself from breastfeeding in one day last week, which both confused me and made me feel somewhat sad and relieved. She is the love of my life! (my husband is too) I couldnt leave him out. I have been with my husband for almost 9 years, married for 2 on Nov. 4th. We had our baby girl in February of this year, exactly 8 years to the day of my husband and my first official date as a couple, that felt pretty special :) We recently moved back to Modesto from the Bay Area so we could purchase a home so I could stay at home for a year with Audrey. I joined this site to make some connections with other moms.

Welcome! I'm originally from Sunnyvale, but have been here about 10 yrs now. welcome to the group. I too, love your choice in baby names :)
As a side note, Sunnyvale was my very first home 40+ years ago. My parents lived out in the country and we moved to Hughson when I was just a few months old. It wasn't too long after that that a subdivision went into the old apricot orchard.

Hi, Jill - your Audrey is a real cutie, and she's at a really fun age. My youngest just turned 18, and believe me, you will find yourself feeling both sad and relieved all at the same time quite a bit as she is growing up - we grow right along with them.
I'm into baby names so Audrey Raine really caught my eye. Love that combo! I usually post in the Pregnancy section under baby names. Hopefully people will start posting questions about baby names to spur some discussion.
